That was GameCube, Capcom wishes they could get the RE Engine games running natively on SwitchThe whole reason 3P left Nintendo is cause their games sold like shit on them.
What has changed?
Anyone remember Capcom going all in on Gamecube? They regretted it later.
Same with EA and Co.
Also don't forget Soul Calibur 2 on Gamecube sold better than on PS2 and Xbox.
Call of Duty 3 sold better on Wii than PS3
Guitar Hero 3 and world Tour sold way better on Wii than PS3
Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition outsold Resident Evil 4 HD on both PS3 and 360 combined but to be fair it only got a physical release in Japan.
the Just Dance games sold way better on wii than 360 and PS3
Mario and sonic at the Olympic games was developed by Sega and sold great on the Wii and DS
The Monster Hunter Games on 3DS sold better than the PS4/5 versions of Monster Hunter Rise, and guitar hero on tour sold great despite the DSi removing the GBA slot the following yearNames all those 3P games which sold well on the DS and 3DS?
And the Switch for that matter with huge console sales.
How many 3P games in the Top 20/30 and what did they sell.
You can count them with your fingers.
What makes you think the Switch 2 will change things when the Switch couldn’t?
Nothing has changed. Nintendo console buyers primarily buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games.
All those reasons you have given mean nothing.
The biggest 3P releases will be for PS, Xbox and PC simply because the Switch 2 will be last gen hardware no matter how much people sugar coat it.
GTA6 coming to Switch 2?
that being said I'm not saying Sony is dead or anything even if Elden Ring comes to the Switch 2 but let's not say that the Wii and DS didn't have third party games that didn't sell well on it.
