Sony Xperia play which might be Sony's Mobile division but it did use PlayStation Mobile titles which were also sold on PSP and eventually on PS Vita.

So overall the fact Nintendo has been in the Console Market 11 years longer than Sony and only has 3 more models than Sony if we don't include PSVR, PSVR 2 and PS Portal, I don't know where you got this idea that Nintendo was the king of revisions and slim/Xl models.
