Sorry but this take is straight from the 90s. A pentium 4 desktop with an ATI 9600 GPU should run that Simpsons game like a hot knife through butter. Emulating it with PCSX2 will require more hardware.

An FX PC from a decade ago will run everything but the latest most demanding next gen only games. Decent gaming PCs only have to be upgraded if you are looking to be on the bleeding edge these days.

I would prefer to emulate it since i like seeing the PlayStation button prompts on the screen instead of the PC keyboard ones.
