It didn't chart on Switch too... that is weird but I can see FF is heavy tied with PlayStation.
It charted really well on release for the switch didn't it? maybe it's due to no digital sales reported for switch

oh maybe i was only remembering the JP numbers. ig worldwide people would be playing the game on ps4/ps5 instead of switch due to performance

i dont know in the usa but here in europe the series s its gathering dust since the first day,no matter how many how many sales or offerts,i mean i buyed one for my son for 12 for him to play some fifa ,and i have series x and a ps5 but nobody wants this console here
Ive read and heard the series x is hard to find/ unavailable and its been that way for awhile. I think Microsoft has given up on the "premium" devices and decided to go all in on the cheap version. I wouldnt be surprised if alot of the mess going on with MS first party is having to reconfigure their games to have the series S as the lead platform.
The thing is the $500 console almost always has exclusive games in the sales ranking, while the ones for the $200 not. As an example, in that 2022 ranking (the one of the biggest country for the console market) there are 3 exclusives of the $500 and none of the $200.
These estimations are clearly wrong. If that distance between XB and Switch woud be true then XB would be above Switch in dollar sales and isn't the case.
As I remember even if PS outperforms them like 2:1, at least until some months ago XB Series was doing a better job than previous XB consoles or at least than XBO. Which is good for them.
Not necessarily; for example if we had 600k series S sold at $200 and 400k series X sold at $400 due to christmas deals, it would have made less dollarwise than 1m switches at $300. O
