Comparatively, on average (at least up to November), about 1,365 Xbox consoles (S and X) have been sold daily throughout the year.

In other words, PS5 has been outselling Xbox Series S & X by a little over 29:1 the entire year.

Sounds like completely fake info. That websites say Sony sold 1.2M in October but 1.8M in March. Which sounds like total bullshit. October, November and December is where they sell more consoles. Specially this year considering games like Spider-Man 2.

Bro ps5 sold 1.6 million in Sept so it does not mean info is bs.

1.6 million units

In September 2023, the PlayStation 5 was the best-selling gaming console worldwide, selling an estimated 1.6 million units, around 560 thousand of which were sold in the Americas, where PS 5 was also maintaining the lead in unit sales.Nov 15, 2023

March was the biggest sales month for PS5 this entire year so far.

Good lord, man. Do you even think before posting something like this?

October was when the Slim rollout was just about to happen and the channels were clearing out stock of the original design. They sold fewer units than in March because they had fewer on shelves to sell.

That would pace it behind PS4 actually. It should hit 115 million by sometime in 2027 providing everything go smoothly.

Uh you forgot a 0 somewhere.

If you're using chartz, XBS is selling nearly 14K a day.

It's 3:1

You're right, I dropped a digit somehow. So it averages out to 13.65K per day for Xbox Series. 3:1.

Still not a good look for the platform, but it's better than 29:1. That said, the gap is widening in PS's favor much faster this gen, versus PS4 last generation.

Bullshit. You, me or that website have no idea of the PS5 worldwide monthly sales. Only Sony knows them.
No it's not bullshit... Again you keep thinking very antiquated as if this gen follows sales trends of previous generations.

PS5 broke playstation records for the respective months of February and March in North America. It's when they finally started shipping ample stock to Europe, Asia and Oceania as well.

October sales will be low across the board as they stopped shipping PS5's to clear channel. November probably won't be as huge as it should be either but best believe December will be a monstrous month for them.

So their source for the fake numbers is VGchartz, this explains the nonsense.

Sony's official figures for the current calendar year from January to September 2023:

Q4 January-March: 6.3M
Q1 April-June: 3.3M
Q2 July-September: 4.9M

Total: 14.5 million

As this site uses vgchartz, which has never been accurate, this gives 12.38 million with the month of October added, so we end up with 2 million less.
