It needs to be said! It's crazy how the narrative online is there's nothing to play on PS5. I blame the PC ports that took away the focus and attention on the console. It's giving Xbox energy when they started porting their games and nobody cared about the box anymore.

Microsoft never was anything on the level of Nintendo and PS. Just flash hype by media and dumb fans who wanted COD, Halo and Gears.

Any year with a mainline final fantasy is a good year. Relink, Stellar Blade, Wukong and SH2 turning out good were a big surprise. TGA's this year going to be lit we are due for a new fromsoft game announcement and KH4 trailer and launch window

The OG Xbox had great games that tried to, and sometimes succeeded in, pushing the boundaries. The Xbox 360 continued with that up until 2010 when it became the defacto cod gears halo slope know today.
More than that, Microsoft offered real competition after Sega exited, forcing Sony to get the lead out, leading them to create equally great games.
The PS2/PS3 Vs Xbox/Xbox360 era was an incredible decade for console gamers and pc gamers alike.
Of course, if you're a fanboy who autistically closed themselves off to all the market and instead chose one plastic box, you would disagree that there other plastic box was any good. But that's on you.
Lovers of gaming can see where competition forced the industry to be the best and why, since we've lost competition, the industry has stagnated.
The best we can hope for is handheld wars to force some true innovations from the big 3 or, one of them to shit out of the industry and bring some fresh blood in.

I’m not even sure if the game will ever come to Xbox this generation.
Different from FFXVI that was a Square Enix decision and the game has chance to come to Xbox.

Article sounds a lot like what I’ve been telling so many of you this year. Ps5 is easily the best platform to play on in 2024. We got so much shit from Sony. When you combine their output with a lot of great 3rd parties…. that gives you a ton of games
