Why would it be amusing to hear people complain that they have to pay more, to get nothing more, for something that didn't cost any more to produce?

Fanboy tribalism is the only answer to that. It's fine if a 30% price hike doesn't affect that user, but to think it shouldn't affect others is ridiculous.

You can buy an iphone and have it function perfectly fine without needing all the optional personal costs you added.

A gaming system doesn't work that way.

huh? why not? I can buy a disk PS5 and play all my hundreds of physical or digital PS4 games, many with free PS5 updates and it would have everything I need. Everything else is optional.

Barely play online these days...me? My last time actively playing multiplayer maybe back in batlefield 5 days...

These days Il just buy games $60-$70..finish it and be done with it...

What PS5 first party game these days that really utilize online ( aside for Gran Turismo 7) ? Not much
