I'll try and get at launch but I predict sales will be quite soft at that price and they will have an offer on it in Europe within a year.

I was expecting 599$ with a 1TB drive, so this isn't too crazy.

I have never purchased a pro version of a console while I still had the original. Nothing I see today will be changing that.
Rdna 3, Wi-Fi 7, 2 tb ssd to name a few. On paper this is looking better than the PS4 pro.
That's the thing, when you consider the 2tb Series is $600 (and the OG PS5 hasn't had a price-cut) this was always going to cost more. They want to make a profit on hardware from day one.
