Aww, I just randomly remembered that they cancelled the Twisted Metal reboot game. I'm not even a legacy fan or anything but it seemed like a delayed but eventual good plan. TV show, learn from the plusses of rocket league vs the minuses of PS3 TM/destruction allstars, push alongside the TV show. They ham-fisted things by not essentially committing destruction allstars dev time straight towads TM reboot, especially knowing they had the TV show coming out down the road. Could have timed things nicer. Is the show still going, at least :(

september? maybe..
Maybe... Or maybe some during 2024, 2025 and maybe even later like in 2026. But I think some of them are at least ready to be shown during 2024 and then more in 2025 depending on how many years there's left before one or more of these games are very early versions of those games or they at least half finished or something like that. Anyway I hope one or more of them are new IP's and hopefully not a GAAS kind of game though!

yo, this post should totally be on the Gaming tab, getting more exposition and being used for more casual chatting around playstation!

From the mind of Keiichiro Toyama, the legendary creator behind Siren and Gravity Rush. During the ‘90s, Kowlong, Hong Kong, is faced with a series of gruesome murders. The player is a body-less entity that possess NPCs roaming the streets in order to battle Slitterheads, a monster that feasts on human brains. Finishing off the monsters as ordinary middle-aged men and women is an absolute blast.

Is Slitterhead as good as people say? I've either seen people clown on it or say it's awesome.
I have no idea because I haven't played it, but I assume it may not be very good when it has these review scores:
  • OC: 66 (27% of critics recommend)
  • MC - PS5: 62
  • MC - Xbox: 68
  • MC - PC: 66
  • MC - PS4: N/A

It’s in the middle for me.

Its not AAA quality. Has lots of jank to it, but it has some different gameplay and decent. But can tell why people wouldnt like it, or pass it up.

The combat was ok, not great for me, ubut better than alot out there though, different. I couldn't be bothered with the difficulty and my frustration with some of the controls in time, so turned the difficulty down. Just to go through the game and enjoy it more. Which helped.

Maybe because I have a big backlog and lost my God of War Ragnarok save file, so I just want to rush through it. But I am enjoying getting the optional characters and story in Slitterhouse.

It very much feels like a PS2/PS3 game in PS4 graphics, which isnt a bad thing. Just the structure of the game, conversations, music, animations etc feel like an older Japanese era game.
A better price for it would be £30

Parts of it feels like a 6/10, but parts of it are cult classicy like an 8/10 lol

i hope so too, if its only a meaningless bloodborne tweet to make people less mad about yesterday stuff it would be too silly
"Break glass in case of emergency" vibes tbh

But i aint complaining. Gimmegimmegimme

It's looking more official than ever. Sony PlayStation has eliminated Sega, Nintendo, and now Microsoft out of the high end console race. They pretty much have the seat to themselves now.

Now to enter the ring with Nintendo on handhelds again.... because what else to do really?
