OH he'll no. I have a quest 2 and it's not close imo to quality and VR gaming.
Quest 2 couldn't even carry the PSVR 1's jock, let alone the PSVR 2.
I just want to play Half-Life Alyx, since it's not on PS5 and PSVR2 is not compatible with PC it doesn't matter how good PSVR2 is in comparison.
Half-Life is my favorite IP and I waited way too long.
Got it working for himself, barely, without the sensors working I think. Seems a long way from being released I think and might require additional dedicated hardware.
I can just sell my Quest 2 later anyway, didn't pay very much on it.
PSVR2 support so far seems lacking, GT7 is the main draw for me.
There've been 10 PSVR2 exclusives in first 10 months, RE4 Remake VR just dropped, 4 out 5 of the VR GOTY nominees are PSVR2 exclusives. Thanks to FOVeated rendering, PSVR2 runs multiplat VR games the best, even better than high end PC's. Idk what more people want... It's SAD to see that you of all people have fallen for the "PSVR2 support is lacking" FUD

You should be more humble before going around accusing people of spreading FUD for simply having an opinion that doesn't align with yours.

You need to reread what I said, I said you FELL for the FUD, I didn't say you're spreading it, even though you kind of are. Saying those games don't appeal to you is completely different from saying theres a lack of support. If you don't like those games that's fine, but there are plenty of games and exclusives, so where exactly is the lack of support?
I agree they need to get HL Alyx, but psvr2 has games just as good exclusive to it.
My bad for misinterpreting your words, but I know the games that are available and the prices being charged for the device.
After RE4 VR what else does PSVR2 has on the the way?
Once I play Half-Life Alyx and get it out of the way I'll reevaluate. The idea of having to buy 2 VR headsets does not please me, it's like having to buy two TVs because of different inputs.

As a known doomer, I tend to think nothing is coming when they don't show anything and based on 2023 I might be right. They didn't show anything and pretty much only Spider-man 2 came out a game that was announced 2 years ago.its ok and like their 1st party games...I have no idea what's coming
By the way, no Astro Bot Rescue Mission on PSVR2 is shameful.

At least we got 3rd party bangers coming.... but hopefully we see what studios are really up to soon.
Just realized that PSVR2 hasn't even be out for a year, so once again it seems like a case where the lack of Sony marketing is making the future look grim to me.
I'll probably move from the Quest 2 to the PSVR2 soon (need to get Half-Life Alyx out of the way), I just need to see a bit more from Sony to not feel like it's another PS Vita situation where they'll try to bury a good product.

I am a bit worried about PSVR2. Best VR headset ever and really good games so far. But I am smelling a Vita.
I regret selling my OLED Vita but I was so pissed about how Sony handled it back then.
