This... It's about time Sony!Just do it, Sony.
This idiot.
The reason why they get angry is because Sony gets data on the PC ports. It can show the overlap between PC and PS5 users. For a long time PC players have said it's ok for Sony to port games because there won't be an exodus of players from PS to PC as the two player bases are largely different. This is not true and they were saying this to slowly weaken PlayStation with Sony not knowing why. Now, that Sony is pursuing one of the most popular devs on both platforms, implementation of the PSN login will show data on how much of an overlap there truly is and how to approach the PC platform with ports. I'm all for the PSN login, PC players are insufferable. They told us their issue was that Sony wasn't upfront about the PSN login with Helldivers 2 prior to launch of the game well now that Sony has been up front about what needs a PSN login requirement after that whole ordeal these dudes are still mad about needing to have a PSN login. Lol. They get mad at a free launcher or a free login account like they're so insecure.
In fairness, Sony also said this was neither a confirmed risk, nor observed trend. For a long time PC players have said it's ok for Sony to port games because there won't be an exodus of players from PS to PC as the two player bases are largely different.
The vast majority of them is running their games on an operating system with NSA spyware, and they're worried about telemetry? Your days are numbered. Can you tell me when's the last time that Sony bought a multiplatform studio/publisher and made it PlayStation exclusive? From Software will be exactly like Bungie and I'm looking forward to your meltdown when you'll realize you gained nothing. Why wait? @BillyZ is melting down right here!
They don't need to make it exclusive goofball. Sonys ownership of from software alone will make your anus prolapse.Your days are numbered. Look I don't care if Sony will put From Software in the left pocket instead of the right pocket. What I care about is that all From games will still be, say it with me, DAY AND DATE on PC. And that's how it's gonna be.SIE already owns 14% of FS. Sony has showed they want them with PS studios by doing that. FS is not Bungie. They make single player games. Sony bought Bungie to help them with gaas games so they agreed to leave them separate from SIE. Even that is not really true anymore since SIE is now taking full control over Bungie.
After this deal is done SIE will own the majority of FS.

You will bend the knee and provide your PSN login to Sony two years after the PS5 launch.Look I don't care if Sony will put From Software in the left pocket instead of the right pocket. they suffering now had to close 4 studios one being tango gameworks which kafton came in and saved them why games are coming to playstation billion dollars they spent on Activision hurt them will be awhile to make it backShow me any studio that didn’t suffered with Microsoft?
You can start with Rare that is a shell of itself for decades already.

You have to imagine there were stipulations beyond 'you can't make this game or any titles in this franchise exclusive' that Markus Pearson imposed on Microsoft during the sale for that to have happened.I'd probably say Mojang hasn't really suffered under Microsoft.
But yeah, 99% of their studios have really no chance at success. They aren't giving studios the resources they need to be successful. You look at Helldivers 2 and Sony gave them an extra 4 years. Microsoft isn't giving them that time.
It's no accident that Sony has a decade of straight GOTY nominees.
