I would love a steelbook containing both "parts".
Just watch Sony make it US only, like the Steelbook for PT 1
that edition is in UK and EU too.Just watch Sony make it US only, like the Steelbook for PT 1

It IS available in Ireland, you just have to catch a leprechaun to get a copy.No it's not. It will be available in select countries. Ireland for example is not one of them.

As I remember at some point they said that there were more Director's Cuts coming, so I assumed one of them was going to be TLOU2 DC, that would bundle TLOUP1 and TLOU2 PS5 (as Bloomberg said that it was the idea in the original TLOUP1 pitch made by PS Visual Arts) or TLOU2+TLOU Online. It's probably because they're porting it to PC. I wouldn't be surprised if the Sony strategy was release->wait 1-2 years-> port to PC and sell it as a remaster/directors cut on consoles
A good moment to release TLOUDC would be a few months before TLOU Online release, or on time for the Season 2 of the TLOU tv series that maybe would release around the same time than TLOU Online.
They shot a lot more than just one season already. After the hassles they had with Game of Thrones and Westworld, HBO is working more efficiently and stockpiling footage. They will be shooting for three years here in Alberta, and they have to use a lot of real locations that are easier to shoot in bulk than to hope they don't change over the time between seasons, as well as using city and town locations that you can't always have the same access to more than once.If there is a season 2 it's not even for 2024. It took a year to shoot season 1, season 2 is not even in production, therefore... It's probably a 2025 release, if it happens.
Well, in the case of Sony is different than the MS case.Halo attempted the cross media promotion. It should’ve kickstarted a few years of IP growth with the tv show. However the show doesn’t seem to have delivered (I didn’t hate it until the very last moments of the last episode but that’s another story).
Successful hype and reception for both products should’ve guaranteed more games and media for everyone…
It’s a marketing strategy that on paper sounds perfect. Release game that satisfies fans and finds its place in the modern gaming landscape. Release tv adaptation that should bring even more name recognition to the IP and bring in new fans too.
The strategy with TLOU is the same. They want to grow. And the bigger the brand gets the more likely an online game can take off.
Here’s the thing…. I expect this HBO show to deliver. I expect the Super Mario movie to deliver. This is gonna work. And I say this not even as a fan of ND.
The HBO show will be a huge success. I’d bet on it.

The did 2 seasons plus of exteriors, so you’re kind of right!I doubt they shot two seasons.

The situation for the exterior work in places like Canmore is kind of unique. With the development going on in the area, they had to get more shot than they would usually because the town isn’t going to look the same in a year.We shall see. It's smart if they did to be fair, but I think they already cut this season short by 1 episode, so perhaps a lot was left in the cutting room floor.
Having worked in TV, it's not uncommon to capture a lot of shit just to have the option to add it during editing.
