Better than expected. Waiting on pro before any new buys.

Edit: In saying that I hope Konami and Blooper have massive success.

I do hope PC release day1 doesn’t hamper sales. This is the sort of thing Sony should have treated it as 1st party, massive marketing & console exclusive…..even if for 2years

I bet this game was made on less than 75 million budget, Blooper has only one advantage - they are cheap as fuck. Maybe this is the template to follow, put a few senior people in charge of overall direction like Konami did with Ito and Yamaoka and then let an independent studio develop the game. Nintendo does this a lot with great success.

Pretty optimistic with the hands on impressions, might end up high 80s.
🥳
Well done, Konami is back very happy for it. Read somewhere that Bloober hinted in a Polish interview they are continuing working with them so remake of 1, 3 & Origins are no brainers. Hopefully it sells well, I will get it but will save it for the Pro.

yeah bloober has offices near where I live.... or at least they were hiring playtesters there.
Can confirm - should be cheap. None of these devs make 100k$ a year lol. probably like 25-50k$ depending on seniority based on polish salaries.

Well, color me surprised. I was VERY critical of Bloober.
Everyone was but I think they were a good choice for silent hill because I loved layers of fear & even though there was no actual enemies in that the atmosphere was really creepy & they did the painters madness story well , I am apprehensive about the combat though since none of their games have ever had any

Didn't play the medium because it's Xbox exclusive & looks shite , didn't play layers of fear 2 because I hear it was crap although it has candyman voicing it but I did like the Blair witch project but like I say none of them have any combat

I'm shocked. I fully expected this to be a shitshow as anyone familiar with Konami and Bloober who has a memory would.

Is Konami back?

Is Bloober finally maybe not shit as long as they have some overlord scrutinizing their work?

um what?

why would availability on more platforms "hamper" sales?

I just preordered on PC thanks to the strength of the reviews, so there's my "hampered" sale 🤣
