They're not enforcing it yet. Expect a dip once they do.The lesson they need to take is that online discourse is fucking meaningless. Engagement on steam is basically unchanged despite all the online bitching,

If they aren't boycotting now they aren't going to. These capital G gamers are all talk no balls. I'd bet the majority of those complaining don't even own the game. They're not enforcing it yet. Expect a dip once they do.
very few will drop a game, where they spent 100h, just to make an account in 5min, especially when most of pubs asking the same. it isn't an issue any rational men/women.If they aren't boycotting now they aren't going to. The4se capital G gamers are all talk no balls
I really doubt that. That barely anyone will use.
That is not compatible with reality at all, Sony has been terrible with making a store front ever since the PS3 days, it's clearly an area that they have struggled for a long time, all the way back to when they couldn't even figure out how to implement name changes.you clearly ignore the fact that Sony pushes for extreme quality of their products, i have no doubt if there’s a company that can create a functional launcher is them, they have some of the best software/audio engineers in the world
PlayStation:The ungrateful swine on Steam should be grovelling and pleading to pay for PS+. They've been gifted one of the best multiplayer games of the gen and this is how they respond to a standard request?
Some times I forget that I'm a PC gamer, but fuck PC gamer culture (was that too much?).The ungrateful swine on Steam should be grovelling and pleading to pay for PS+. They've been gifted one of the best multiplayer games of the gen and this is how they respond to a standard request?
I really doubt that.
Plus you won’t have Xbots making issues.
It's not like the games are selling gangbusters on steam, taking a hit of 10-20 million dollars to avoid obnoxious customers is a good deal I say. A god of war doesn't require pc peasants to be successfulWhy will Sony succeed when others failed? PS exclusives aren't the big draws some here make it to be. Epic has one of the biggest games on the planet and EGS still is a failure.
*I think* Sony plays nice with PC store fronts to avoid any monopoly claims. Ultimately, PC gaming at the high end is not reasonable or feasible to most. Consoles are much more accessible. If Sony ends up being dominant in both, the governments would start knocking on their door, so Sony sticks to dominating the AAA console market and uses PC as a legacy games and service games supplemental platform.Main lesson is they need their own storefront
They might make less than steam but they control their own messaging on their own store and make 100% of the profits
First games doesn’t sell that well in Steam. Why will Sony succeed when others failed? PS exclusives aren't the big draws some here make it to be. Epic has one of the biggest games on the planet and EGS still is a failure.
And I can't fucking wait. I've been maining PC since 2021, but my actual game time is wayyyyyyy down. I recently booted up my dust-covered PS5 again and with the DS Edge, it was glorious. The DualSense is really a technical marvel.Main lesson is they need their own storefront
They might make less than steam but they control their own messaging on their own store and make 100% of the profits
IMO the low sales Sony games are having on Steam they will way better with they own Storefront
There's no way you seriously believe this. It defies all logic.IMO the low sales Sony games are having on Steam they will way better with they own Storefront
Can you name a single storefront that has succeeded on PC? (That isn't Steam).probably some failed but others found more revenue outside Steam.
I'm waiting for the 'we apologize, we have removed this requirement' tweet on Monday.PlayStation:
Game requires PS+ monthly subscription to play.
Steam:
No subscription of any sort required.
You can refund the game and get all your money back after playing it for months.
PlayStation is for suckers, Sony doesn't give a shit and will probably end up apologizing to PC players while PlayStation players get treated like shit.
That is posted in Ubisoft financialsThere's no way you seriously believe this. It defies all logic.
Even if you take out all the labels, Steam, Sony, etc., It boils down to a game that wants to sell itself and you are saying it would have a better chance selling in any store other than the biggest one in the market. That does not make sense.
