Sony should port all their PS4 games to the next Nintendo consoles

PS & PC was enough. Again Lego is being paid Sony is paying Lego to make a Lego Horizon game from first party why does Lego even has any terms for platform like Sony paid Lego & Lego dictated platforms while getting paid while also promoting Lego & Lego toys while also pushing another game under Lego ip. It seems like an L & Sony is likely having crazy splits like Marvel. Idk why Sony would waste time & resources for this especially wasting Guerilla games potential output.

Had it be Nintendo they would said nope we paying you & this Lego Mario game is exclusive to Nintendo & if it can’t then we don’t want to do any business with you. Our developers will safe there time & make a traditional Mario game that’s exclusive & make more profit while pushing Nintendo console & game subscription.

Guerilla isn't working on the game. Some 3rd party developer is. Very true on the first part.

From my knowledge this Lego game is like 75% made by Guerrilla Games & 25% SOBO. The other studio is more of a support studio from there past history. I don’t even think TT has anything to do with this Lego game

Following the same logic of the excellent Sony PC port strategy, that according to many users here has not had any negative effect on their console sales, the Switch 2 will be one of the greatest opportunities for Sony to expand their market as a publisher in their entire history, making their games available on the go to a potentially 150m+ users.

TLoU, Uncharted, Spider-man, God of War, Horizon, Bloodborne, GoT, SoTC, Gran Tursimo, Death Stranding, there is no excuse left not to port all these games to the Switch 2. One could even argue that not doing so would be illegal due to their fiduciary duties as well as anti-consumer and discriminatory for specifically depriving Nintendo owners from their rights to play these games.

Since the Switch 2 will have an SSD they could probably manage to squeeze many ports of PS5 games as well like Helldivers 2, Returnal, Demon's Souls and R&C Rift Apart.

Phil Spencer and MS were ahead of the curve.

So I have read comments, many say it was Lego who pushed to be on Switch. Horizon Lego are technically two IPs collaborating. Lego pressure md Sony to release it in Switch and PC. It's weird that Sony did agree to those conditions. It was apparently a Jim Ryan backed decision (yes before anyone defending Jimmy, it's been in development for 4 years, ergo Jim Ryan era). So glad that old geezer is gone. If he was allowed to continue he would have transformed PlayStation in Xbox 2.0

As a console manufacturer, Sony's primary means of making money isn't actually publishing their own games. It is by taking thirty percent of sales of everyone else's game that is released on their console. In order to do that, though, they need people to actually buy their console and buy into their ecosystem. One of the primary ways to do that is to release unique, exclusive games that people want to play. Those games are free to make money on their own but doing so is less important than driving people to "buy the box" and thus earn Sony thirty percent of every additional game purchased on the system. Obviously there are additional ways to attract people to the console (stuff like trophies, contests, friends lists, etc, cost money to make and maintain but are worth it to build the ecosystem) but games remains by far the most important one. "Thankfully" Lego Horizon looks like a hunk of shit so its not going to actively do harm to the ecosystem, unlike Xbox giving away good games, but it certainly isn't going to help it either.

Also, their GaaS games will eventually find their way into xbox ( wait!! they are already there). It actually doesn't make any sense for a GaaS to skip xbox.

No, Playstation should only make exclusives for Xbox. Not Nintendo, not Sony or Valve
