Even though I have a PS5, I wouldn’t mind buying a backup PS4 for collection purposes…

Agreed. PS5 is still too expensive for many casuals. Playstation console at $199 is a good way to expand the ecosystem to a bigger audience. Even though it's a past gen console they don't care they just want playstation

Nah.

I think it's the price that's hurting them a bit.

If you look at the spanish charts games like cod and fifa are right at the top.

Those are preferred on consoles.

And ps4 versions of those games sell a lot, like sometimes on par or above ps5.

Sony need to drop the price and get people moved over to ps5.

PC sold 67000 units of software in Spain last year. Digital + physical. Consoles sold 6mil. There is no universe in which PC looks better to anyone on the continent.
