And yet - given their recent output, I wonder if it will even be worth the download time. I hope so, but have heavy doubts

He outright said he thinks it won't be exclusive. Even the twitter post said exactly what he said. Not claims, thinks.
Also, the thread was closed because the OP didn't provide a timestamp of where he said it. When provided with information, it still remained closed.
As I said, the sub is ran by xbox zealots.
How do people not understand it? Making it Xbox exclusive would mean letting go a 10m+ sales assuming the game sells as well as Skyrim. That is more sales than any Xbox game has sold in ages. It's just as stupid as making CoD exclusive.
Gamepass business model collapsed and Starfield shows this type of game has very little impact on a service for people that don't care about what they are playing as long as they see it as cheap and a good deal.

After Starfield, I feel it's more humorous to have faith with this studio. By the time ES6 comes out, that engine code would be literally held by gum and shoestring laces.

It straight up listed it as a fact, when that wasn't the case. Many twitter accounts picked it up and started reporting it as confirmed and genuine. This is the EXACT QUOTE. "Yeah, I mean. I don't think that's gonna be exclusive to Xbox. I think that's probably changing, right?"

This isn't what was said in the clip at all, he said he thinks that it will be, not that it will be. He has no idea, he is reasonably thinking that because of the way Xbox seems to be handling their exclusives right now, I mean you just had 4 games go to PS, if those do well, I can see ES6 going to PS as well.
millions of people care, just because you think SF was a flop doesn't mean ES6 will be a flop.
ES is an established franchise that has always done well.

Never thought it would be Xbox only. But after 76 and Starfield - I really wonder if they can pull off something decent that does it justice. Maybe if they had a new engine … but nah that wont happen.
