What do you think Spiderman 2 will sell lifetime? Regardless of current install base I think it will cross 20 million lifetime and may even reach more.

It’ll do 12+ this year alone. People don’t understand how much casuals love spidey, its not just ‘core’ gamers hyping it on forums. I’d even go as far to say the majority of people that own a ps5 will eventually own spider-man 2 on it

The last reported numbers for spidey and miles was 33m as of MAY 2022.
Thats before the PC release for both of them and additional boom of sales after spider-verse again. They are both probably in the 40m+ range as of today

All versions of the games are on sale right now also and if you own the PS4 version you can get the upgraded PS5 version for even cheaper (think its around $5)

Lifetime sales will be like 20m+ but not much more, Sony will put it on PS+ and kill off the tail. Without PS+ 30+ easy

Yeah it's currently top 13 on Amazon and has been in top 20 for weeks now so thts good. It's just Amazon but you know it bodes well.but then again we know it's going to sell gangbusters.

No, Gran Turismo is almost at 100m.... Spider-Man will probably peak at 70m total with all 3 games, which is still impressive of course, but it would need 1-2 more games to pass GT.
20-30 million seems like an obvious bet; the only reason I would think it could be lower (say 15-20 million) is due to possible MCU fatigue that could be blamed entirely on Disney/Marvel.
Though, there are MANY people who watch the Sony Spiderman films without really watching the other MCU films, so that may not even be a factor affecting anything here.

Spider-man isn’t really affected by the marvel/superhero stuff. All the spider-man movies still do over a billion in the box office, and spider-verse did over 600m.

The issue isn't would ppl buy it, it's that the PS5 install base isnt at PS4 levels yet but again this is lifetime so I think it'll cruise past 20 mil.
