But Sony money must be best ROI than spending resources on a xbox port that will flop. And SQEX games have few MTX, so they're not good candidates for gamepass anyway.

Exactly my point, hence SquareEnix not bothering with Xbox ports anymore.

Even with MS footing the bill for the port, the opportunity cost of having a team waste their time porting to Xbox is a negative for SquareEnix.

Dragon Quest probably next year. I think its a PS exclusive but can't remember. They also have a lot of smaller projects out (DQ3 remaster, Infinity Strash, spin-offs, probably Just Cause 5 somewhere in there.)

I don't remember anything about DQXII being ps exclusive. If it is that's huge.

Simply impossible. DQ is a staple on Nintendo consoles. It’s more likely the game launches on the inevitable switch successor than being an ps exclusive.
