Several months isn't enough to completely overhaul the game. I hope they remove/downplay the GAAS elements, though.

They should release this garbage as is, maybe fool someone into including it in a service day one and move on to developing a regular Batman game with no bullshit to salvage their name.

WB overvalued the IP of Sucide Squad and Margo Robbie and they went as far as to polluting the gaming side with bad ideas. All that stuff tanked with everyone.

There’s no way they’re rebuilding the game into something different. I can only see them doing what they did to Arkham Knights and dropping dlc support to have a more traditional “boxed” release.

However, they could pull a Fortnite which started as a pve zombie game and slap a br on it. I mean… this is the most I’ve ever seen a big budget game ape Fortnite. I mean how else they gonna monetize cosmetics if they still go this route? A one and done co-op campaign wont sell that stuff… ever.
