GoW had a better start like twice the numbers of CCU but after that Ragnarok hold better with some high peaks.
Looking at both seems like they are doing very similar but GoW had a bigger launch and Ragnarok with better peaks after that a month.
Who will sell better in the long run is hard to predict here because looking at the end of graph aligned they are having very similar number of daily CCU (~5-6k) but Ragnarok seems to have weekends peak at 8-9k while GoW have weekend peaks below 7k.
I tried to align the best I could...

Except for the launch weeks seems like Ragnarok is doing a bit better or at least catching the launch difference.

You made the question to the wrong person... I don't think any PC release is worth of anything without a PlayStation ecosystem inside PC.
You are just giving money to Steam weirdos.
But it not like all games are doing bad there.
PS. I did better pics with the exactly aligns the 2nd month of GoW Ragnarok with the 2nd month of God of War.
It is more clear they are trailing very similar with a small edge to Ragnarok.
Is that enough to catch the launch difference? Depends how much sales related to CCU and how much time it stay like that... plus how holiday increase it.

like i said before, once PlayStation release a major release day and date on pc then we will see. But until then will we never know.

The thing about CCU numbers on Steam is that they're so easily accessible as a point of data relative to other metrics for financial performance, it tends to be used very broadly to interpret success.

The damage to the PS brand, PS storefront & PS hardware far outweighs the roughly 100K-300K max sells PS gets equating to roughly 50 million dollars in profit. At face value it may look like a free 50 million but when looking at the negatives & diminishment surrounding there business like loosing 3rd party relationships etc PS own platform gets damage & turns loosing more then what they would’ve made on PC.
The only platform, storefront & ecosystem that is strengthened is Valve/Steam as the defacto gaming storefront/platform

Yeah who ever folded this to “doom & gloom” should not be mod.
To fold a thread about public ccu & the conversation surrounding a specific game failure is a bad look. Makes it look like mod wanted to cover reality w sugar & rainbows, the reality is if PS continues this destructive path they will end up like Xbox.

Lego Horizon like any other previous PS PC port has been going in a decline trend w very little hype. PS games use to be prestige & hype people used to desire them now not so much PC players lost all if not a massive amount of desire to PS games (not even taking account the whole DEI shit) now existing & future PC player who bought PS games on a PS console or bought a PS console will now completely leave as they’ve see PS games as being nothing more then Ubisoft not so shitty slop. The magic that Nintendo protects PS has completely lost & it’s hard to get that magic back which is why Nintendo sues & doesn’t play around there ip being dealt in any form that would diminish it.

It’s true. Really look at the landscapes. Nintendo is well positioned to surpass both Sony/PS & Disney w a market cap near roughly 60 billion Nintendo holds ip stronger, diverse/flexible & more powerful then Disney, Sony/PS or any other entertainment company. In console Nintendo well exceeds PS consoles. In games sales from first party Nintendo well exceeds them. In expansion & even as there just tipping there toes in cross media the Mario movie became a billion dollar movie extremely fast something Sony has trouble doing w only Spiderman being Sony golden ticket. In parks Nintendo has the ip to surpass Disneyland. Nintendo is god tier in the entertainment business who holds equally god tier ip.This if for you doomers.

If PS was smart they would’ve made this game exclusive like Astro boy as a new fun experimental game for PS players charging a aggressive $50 so that people who in the edge would explore more AA games like these on PS while also remaining able to target families similar to Astor bot. Atleast PS fans would be hype which rn & leading up to LEGO horizon I’ve seen zero hype or talk about this game. Hell PS could’ve tied Lego Horizon PS5 plates & themes (if they actually had themes again) to increase hype bring more conversation & make players who wouldn’t be interested get rare exclusive themes for buying the game. Not sure if the game is coop but if it was exclusive you could’ve had online coop & push PS+ & maybe give exclusive cosmetics for PS+ players when they buy the game. Instead it will flop on all 3 platform & be nothing more then wasted money & time not guerrilla games worked on this game instead of a 3rd party wasting the time of developers who could’ve worked on a Killzone trilogy remake or brought the Killzone psp/ps vita games to PS4 & PS5 & likely sold more & brought more profits, joy towards PS fan, prestige & aura & overall a new game people would’ve wanted to see on modern PS console pushing PS consoles & it’s storefront/ecosystem
