Each category seemed pretty on the mark this year IMO.
- Was a little surprised that GT7 didn't make it into the racing category, even agaimst Hot Wheels.
- Also surprised Hogwarts did not make at least one list, seems a bit odd given sales and reception
EDIT: Ooops on the relesae date - I thought GT7 was this year for some reason - old gamer problems I guess!

All thing considered since starfield isnt there i think xbox fans will vote for alan wake 2 now

Absolutely disgusting Mario Wonder and Alan Wake are nominated for GOTY and no Final Fantasy 16 or Hogwarts.
But the biggest offense here is Resident Evil 4 has no business being here. In a year like this with so much fantastic original content a Remake shouldn't even have been considered.
Final Fantasy 16 not being nominated for Best Action game is also problematic.

There were, I feel, a few odd noms this year. Lies of P is not an RPG, Dave the Diver is not an indie game, TotK didn't deserve a soundtrack nod and Pikmin 4 isn't really a family game (Nintendo does not, by default, equal family.)
A few glaring omissions, too. Roblox deserved a best live service nod, Hogwarts should have at least gota best action/adventure nom and MK1 could have replaced Pikmin in best multiplayer (really makes it obvious that they didn't win best fighting game, too.) Also, I think EASports FC got in solely because voters are glad EA called FIFA's bluff. EA equals less bad than FIFA now.

Well the game is basically 20 years old. Almost everyone who loves RE has played the game to completion... It had no business being here.
