ff7 rebirth already snagging wins before it even comes out

Not a Harry Potter fan so it has been hard for me to commit to what I have played of Hogwart Legacy even though I recognize the game's quality. Nevertheless, it's stupid that that game got zero nominations. Ok Games Media take issue with JK Rowling but at the end of the day this type of action always result in Games Media harming the developers. They're throwing the devs under the bus.

Probably the political "discussion" put it out the awards.

Hyenas is number 1, no contest. It's the first time I remember seeing a game literally being aborted (Though no one heard about it until it was dead).
Now if we're adding expectations, Starfield or MW3.

Starfield isn't a flop at 85/85 on OpenCritic. Though I can't personally get into the game. And Forspoken may not have done well at OpenCritic, but the game is much better than the 67 that it scored IMO. It's actually a really fun game, and I would love a second one. I am not a panel expert or judge, so I don't know if Forspoken would be worthy of a GOTY nomination. But the ones that were nominated seem pretty darn good. I never played RE4. Zelda TotK nor Mario Wonder. But from what I hear, they are great.

It's a remake for the characters in the story, not for us the players.

...and it's not turn-based at all. It's on PS+ just try it instead of being so uninformed

Also, Remake is a bit of a cheeky title, as the game isn't a straight remake of the original, but the reality of the game world is being re-made by mysterious forces.

The two big Nintendo ones are good for Nintendo news, helped along by the fact that their ecosystem is so different from the other two that there is a lot of space to cover things other people don't talk about.
