Xbox spent like 100 billion TO BE ON PAR (this means IN THE FUTURE) with PlayStation's output.
this is not a positive comment about Xbox.
in fact, it puts in perspective how much money Xbox had to spent just to catch up thanks to so many years of bad decisions.
"ON PAR" statements explanation:
I took 4-year span of time.
Then I count every game published/money hated and retroactively counting acquisitions as well by PlayStation and MS.
Conclusions:
1. Theoretically speaking both companies should be able to publish the same amount of games ± 3.
2. Theoretically speaking MS could release more 80+ games ± 3
3. Theoretically speaking Sony could release more 90+ games +1.
4. the main issue for these companies is scheduling. Both companies could release a game every quarter. And even every month
(counting sub 70 meta games).

That's a lot of mental gymnastics tbh. Fact is, Xbox is currently number two in revenue. If you want to go by profit, you have to provide all the numbers and not just assume, with zero evidence, that Xbox is somehow last place.
