A Director's Cut remade in the Decima Engine or in Unreal Engine 5 for the PS5 with hours of additional story and a multiplayer mode, this has the potential to be one of Sony's main singleplayer franchises, the lore and the universe of this game is insane.

Such a wasted opportunity with much potential. The little Combat that there was was great imo and awesome weapons. The repetitive wolf boss fights killed it for me as well as how short it was. I enjoyed it though.

RAD deserved better. They deserved a bigger budget and more time. They spent a good chunk of development on creating such a fantastic engine. Shu should have seen what was happening and allowed them more to time complete the game.

The media also unfairly killed this game and the studios future / partnership with Sony.

And fuck Shu for exiling them after years of them helping to carry the PSP.

They had big plans for the sequel, shame we never got it. And also one of the most polished games of the generation. Almost bug free.

I agree. If anything tht engine alone and their expertise was worth salvaging and having diff contractual agreements.

Even Naughty Dog was floored by their engine and graphics. Playstation would have also ended up with a good VR Studio in the end. But Playstation ruined many partnerships around that time for some reason.

Hello Games and Super Massive... All would have added a lot value to WWS today.

A Demo sold as full game.
In both stages, gameplay and story the game was just a demo.

Sadly they never finished it to give a better impression... a full games with a story, bosses, enemy diversity, different areas, different weapons, etc could be awesome.

The good part is that I paid $3 or $7 for that demo.

Only on PlayStation you got to hack your console to unlock a 60fps mode that is already there. PlayStation is all about rewarding pirates and hackers over regular users, congratulations Jim Ryan.

It's hilarious how Sony is set on pretending this game never existed, wasn't ever added to PS+ in any way.

What is extra stupid is that Ready at Dawn was just ahead of the curve as far as taking long to produce a game of that quality, Sony forced them to release and unfinished game because it was taking to long but for a studio their size it was actually extremely impressive what they managed to pull on a 5 years development cycle coming up from releasing PSP games.

Man, a sequel from this would bang so hard

Too bad the game bombed.

Meta bought the studio and the IP went with them.

That game was cool, in every aspect. Modern Knights with guns.
It was just too short and man this franchise could have potential for more sequels.
Modern Camelot was nice interpretation of the legendary tale.
