What does digital top 10 look like?

A lot of franchises missing from PlayStation 5 so far

  • Next Gen exclusive Monster Hunter which we're getting in Monster Hunter Wilds
  • Ghost of Tsushima which we're getting in Ghost of Yotei
  • Dragon Quest
  • Kingdom Hearts
  • Persona 6, maybe a Persona 4 remake
  • FF9 remake

2025 and 2026 probably pretty decent years for PlayStation 5.

PlayStation 5 is so cooked in Japan... It will be the lowest selling PlayStation console when all is said and done... 3rd party pubs will jump ship next gen

There not doing PS1 and PS2 numbers but arent they pretty close to PS4 in the same time frame? I wonder what the top 10 all time physical launch sales for PS4 is?

Still they need to do alot better, but what kind of software will help sell home consoles in Japan? Games like Mario Kart, Splatoon, Pikmin, Mario didnt help Wii U at all. Japan just loves Nintendo Handhelds

PS4 will pass PS5 in about 3 weeks and it will be hard for the PS5 to catch up. The PS4 could have gotten to 10 million or even PS3 numbers had Sony not kill it off so they could manufacture PS5's during covid.

PS5 will probably top out at 8.5 million or less

I dont get what you mean with PS4 will pass PS5. Which is ahead by same time frame?

Isnt PS5 only 3.66 million away from beating PS4? Just over half way through the generation

Launch aligned PS5 is ahead of PS4 that was always the big talking points by some PlayStation fans. Well the PS5 only around 80k ahead of so now... So it will fall behind the PS4 by next month.

Why would publishers jump ship when even Xbox (which sells 500 units on a good week) is getting more japanese support than ever before?
