$10 ain't going to stop anyone from playing a great game. Quality matters more than anything else.

That’s not really that great. There were far fewer Switch systems out there at launch than now, so not quite double the copies sold at launch is not the greatest attach rate for the release window.

Big by numbers, small by adoption percentage.

Fewer ? There were none. It was a day one release on Switch. I' m a little unsure how to consider this number : on one side, one would expect that with a enormously bigger potential playerbase the day one buyers of TotK would be vastly bigger, on the other side, BotW had the vantage of selling pretty much 1:1 with the new console in reason of being the only not showelware title disponible at launch ... ( Well, there was also I am Setsuna, but that was not really a universally appealing game )
