Bit dramatic don’t you think?
Not at all.
Switch is selling like hotcakes. Third parties are looking forward to the switch 2 more than PS6 or Xbox whatever. High end GPU sales on PC continue to decline. AMD announced they will refocus their Pc efforts to affordable mid-powered cards.

The signs are there.

Mid ranged cards will be vastly more powerful than a Switch 2 GPU. Also, Miyamoto yesterday saying that Switch 2 won't chase high end graphics literally confirmed Switch 2 GPU won't be so much powerful for a handheld. So, basically a GPU power at Xbone/PS4 level.

Yeah, it's seven years old. It's still selling better than Xbox.

Thanks for proving my point.

Switch 2 will continue the low-mid tier power for a handheld. Switch 1 still ran some advanced games, even if they were 'optimised' to shit. But it proves that graphics, as always, matter little vs gameplay.

PS5 games look incredible. Ratched looks like a movie, horizon looks like a real, living world. Do we need moar powah? It's time Devs parked the lofty Res expectations, focused on physics, destruction and making games fun.

Selling better than Xbox is really low metric. But Switch is at the end of its lifecycle so, of course sales are crap

Didn't proved. Switch 2 even wouldn't be low mid tier power for handheld. You can bet it that big AA/AAA games will avoid Switch 2 just like it happened for Switch this gen. The further development of GPU technology follows the development of graphics and vice versa. And Switch 2 isn't there and won't be there. PS6 will be. But don't worry, Switch 2 will be gold mine for indies, same as Switch.

And games with modern and advanced graphics can have that too, yes. I mean, i loved the Control with advanced physics and destruction. It is soooo fun.

Xbox is nowhere near close PS5, let alone Switch.

Proportional to its lifecycle, yes.
PS5 is also nowhere near NSW in Japan. Sony has to give up on the Japanese market and focus on other markets where it is more dominant because PS games as well as PS5 don't sell very well in Japan at all. The Japanese are slowly giving up on home consoles, i.e. they prefer handheld devices, mobile games and PC and this is the reason why PS and Xbox have nothing to do in the Japanese market. PC is now more popular than PS in Japan.

You said PS5 will die in Japan like Xbox. You understand what you've said? Of course PS5 is far from Switch, but it is faaar from dying there.

OK. So, where the PC games on the charts?

In a few years the PS and Xbox will no longer exist in Japan if Sony continues to push the home console. The only way for Sony to be present in the Japanese market is to announce a handheld device. You will see for yourself when the PS becomes the new Xbox in Japan.

PS6 handheld should revive Sony's fortunes in Japan, while Sony continues to dominate Nintendo in other markets. PC is totally dead in Japan. Deader than it is anywhere else. That lie from @Dungeon Master that it's more popular than PlayStation needs to be extinguished.

You are totally wrong.

PC generates worldwide almost the same money than all consoles combined, not only PlayStation. And PC keeps growing.

PlayStation generates according to Sony around half of the money of the console market, meaning PC games make around twice the amount of yearly money than PlayStation.

Two different estimates made in different times from the two main firms, each including a bit different things (in this graph Switch Lite and Steamdeck are counted as handhelds, while non-Lite Switch is counted as home console), and continues growing:

So, where the PC games on the charts?
If you mean the charts of physical games in Japan, PC games aren't there because they are sold almost exclusively digital only.

PS is slow dying in Japan, i.e. it will end up like Xbox. I can already see Sony raise the white flag in Japan. NSW continues to sell very well in the world, for example in the USA.
PS isn't dying at all in Japan, PS5 is selling better than PS4 in Japan.

It is interesting that the Japanese don't consider the Playstation their console because they cannot forgive Sony for leaving its Japanese roots

And Japan disagrees with you. Invoking Capcom was a dumb move on your part.

14:1 PlayStation to PC ratio in Japan for their flagship franchise. Oof that's gotta hurt your credibility.

Capcom's games sell better on PC than on PlayStation which is a useless and stupid console like Xbox.
