nah the tools were always there. the tools were called colt eastwood, destin legarie, jez corden, tom warren, ryan mccaffrey etc etc
Pentiment was released on November 15th, 2022. It sure took them a long time to find that bug.
I don't think it was a bug, unless they've pushed a patch on Xbox recently and THAT was supposed to unlock the framerate?
Just before launch in 2022, the same guy confirmed the game was 60 on all Xbox platforms despite the comments having quite a few people asking for a 120fps mode
people are misunderstanding, according to Tom Warren, it lines up with what the director said as well.
the patch for 120fps on xbox was meant to ship as the PS version shipped, it wasn't intended to be 120fps before that at all
Where did you see that information?
Edit: Scratch that. I didn't see your earlier post. Still doesn't explain why it wasn't patched until a PS5 release.
probably because pentiment is a one and done, makes no sense to patch it to be 120fps later on if its not for another release
but that's my take on it
