Mostly reddit posts I've seen earlier today. Google the issue and you;re bound to run into "it's fixed". I don't think we're getting an article saying it's fixed.
Again, more than likely another FUD campaign. Because the sources are all "trust me bro".
People were saying it was fixed yesterday. Yeah Sony probably should have made a statement, but the freak out the second something isn't working right is ridiculous. It will get fixed.

It's so funny watching people say they won't buy digital on PSN anymore and they will move to PC...where everything is already 100% digital and the same thing can and does happen

Sony would never make a statement unless it was a very widespread problem and it wasn’t.
Makes sense, which is why it didn't really bother me. Seemed like a certain contingent jumped all over it. And you're right, the fact it just popped up for a few hours on a few tech sites and then disappeared ....
It was ... how you say ... a nothing burger.
Outages happen with every service. People can wait a couple hours instead of swearing they are going to move away from a 30 year old platform as a result lol.
