Lot of shady sht surrounding the deal tho like koticks friends suddenly buying lots of stock just weeks before the deal was announced. Something could come out of left field to derail it.

That would be so far outside of Microsoft corporate culture that you might as well ask them to move their head office to Jupiter, as it would be equally as likely to happen.

Getting to an executive level at MS requires one of two things: 1. Be the owner/CEO of a company they buy out or 2. Be a sociopath who stabbed the right backs, kissed the right asses and stuck around long enough to fail your way to the top, like Phil did. When they promoted him to head of Xbox it was already past a point where, as head of Xbox Game Studios, it was clear he should’ve been fired.
