Playing a bit of Horizon Forbidden West while waiting for RE4.

Very pretty game but hot damn does it play bad. The climbing mechanics and all the animation glitches and clipping is like playing the first Assassins Creed game.

Where it’s at.
I finished Deedlit, and I can only recommend it as a $10 or less buy.

I paid $20, and the length is just absurd. Imagine if Symphony of the Night only had the right side-up castle, and compensated by making the game full of brutal difficulty spikes.

It’s a shame because the gameplay is rock-solid, the presentation is amazing for a modern pixel-art game and we need more quality 2-D games with high production values.

But put it next to Bloodstained, and it comes up pretty short of the mark in terms of depth.

Playing Resi Evil Village PSVR2. Cannot recommend it enough, it is immersive, tense, sometimes scary for some I assume (I'm not easily scared) and just so dope in VR. I've been playing it for the last few days for several hours a day. I think I have one main enemy more to fight before I'm done. Looking around, using weapons, scale of enemies, it's all just like "wow". Now, I can't wait to check out Walking Dead Retribution after all the good things I seen and heard in the Psvr2 reviews/preview.

Finished Crisis Core Reunion. I don't recommend it. Still playing Disgaea 1 Complete and thinking what to play next, maybe Labyrinth of Refrain or Digimon Survive

Got Forged In Shadow Torch on sale and played about an hour of it. So far it's a fun little sidescrolling beat-em-up metroidvania. Graphically comparable to The Ascent in terms of fidelity, with a asian steampunk - cyberpunk hybrid inspired artstyle. Neo-Shanghai or Hong Kong as opposed to Tokyo or San Fran or London that other cyberpunks usually take inspiration from. There's a skill tree that lets you unlock combos and all your vanilla platforming and action combat standard fare.

Voice acting is kinda flat, as is the dialogue and writing. It's serviceable but nothing amazing. Maybe a little better than something like Anno:mutationem.

Combat is fun, although since I'm early in the game the enemies aren't proving to be very challenging, the first boss was a joke. There's also flasks like a souls game although i don't think they're necessary.

Still chugging away at Wo Long. Pretty good combat, but overall the experience isn't as good as the Nioh games. The enemy designs aren't as interesting either.

I was gifted a PSVR headset and wanted to finally dive into Resident Evil 7, since I hadn't played it yet. Sadly, no matter the settings, moving inside the game just gets me motion sick, so I installed it on my PS5 and am now playing it that way. Managed to beat the first boss and leave the first area. I really wish I could play it in VR without getting sick...

The best way to help with this (for some), it can take time but if you just play a little bit everyday building up to longer play times you will slowly get used to it.
It's a shame that not everyone can play VR but like i said some people can build up tolerance.
