What in your opinion is the most slick system ever released?
for me the original 2004 silver DS just has a vibe not any other system has recreated.
My list would go:
1. Launch 2004 DS (Silver, Electric Blue just didn't do it for me.)
2. Launch PS3 (Not the 2 USB model with the plastic looking chrome on it, either the one with the reflective chrome trim or the all black 2006 launch PS3.)
3. PSP 2000
4. Wii (Not Wii Family Edition)
5. Silver GameCube
6. GBA SP Silver
7. Xbox 360 Launch Models
8. PS Vita (This should be higher than PSP but atheistically speaking, the joy sticks look worse than the PSP Analog nub. I'm glad the Vita has joy stick for gameplay but it makes it look slightly less slick.)
9. Gameboy Micro (most 2000s looking system of all time.)
10. DS Lite (The reason I rate this lower than the OG DS is the gloss finish while great isn't better than the original.)
and everything else I haven't really thought about ranking but I do actually like the way the 2012 PS3 slim looks. Never got the appeal of the first PS3 Slim that a lot of people praise. I don't hate the way the PS5, Xbox Series Consoles, or the Switch look and in fact will give credit to the PS5, and Series X going for a unique look but both along with the switch just don't look too appealing to me.
So anyway today is the 20 year anniversary of the Nintendo DS I was gonna make a thread about it but I thought it probably wouldn't do well on here so I thought of what thread I could make to celebrate. Well the first thing that stuck out too me about the DS was how much the launch 2004 silver model stuck out to me. I know it may not be the best feeling version of the DS but man I thought it looked awesome.
Both the launch 2004 DS and the PSP 2000 looked far ahead of their time and I think both Nintendo and Sony have had trouble making their future systems (Besides launch PS3 and not the PS3 with the plastic looking chrome on it.) look as good as these two.
