Will there be a September showcase

So September 2024 is the best guess if there will be one in 2024. This could be like 2022 where there will be no Showcase but I said this many times before.
Since 2016 Capcom loves to reveal a new Resident Evil Game at a PlayStation showing. I believe only Resident Evil: Resistance, RE:Verse, and Resident Evil 4 on Oculus Quest 2 VR, were the only Resident Evil reveals not done with PlayStation for the past 8 years. Unless you count the Mac/iOS, and Switch cloud ports of the RE Engine games as new game reveals.
We are long overdue for a new Resident Evil game announcement and I think revealing RE9 at a PlayStation showing in September is what is most likely gonna be what happens.
RE7 was revealed at PS E3 2016
RE2 Remake was actually revealed at PS E3 2018 (It was announced on August 12th, 2015 on Capcom's Facebook page.)
RE3 Remake was revealed at the December 10th, 2019 State of Play
RE8 Village was revealed at the PS5 Future of Gaming showcase
RE4 Remake was revealed at the June 2nd, 2022 State of Play
and 2024 has yet to reveal a new Resident Evil Game

Capcoms going to be at Gamescom Asia in October I would expect a resident evil reveal there if there ready to reveal one
I doubt Capcom would reveal a big title there. Maybe Tokyo Game Show but knowing Capcoms history, They like to use TGS the time to drop more info on already revealed Resident Evil Games. I think Capcom likes to use PlayStations marketing muscle for their RE games

Wasnt there some notes or rumour thats its gonna happen. Hopefully they dont cut content and fix some of the issues. It will be an amazing old school RE if they do that
I’m starting to have my doubts about a showcase happening this year. It sucks, but I guess it is what it is.
In 2022 Nintendo and Sony had a Direct and State of Play on September 13th, 2022 to get all the reveals they wanted out of the way before TGS.
Same thing happened in 2023. If we get a State of Play before TGS this year then yeah, I don't see anything else besides a PS5 Pro reveal event in October of maybe the week after TGS.
I wouldn't hold my breath on Fairgames. That CGI trailer in combination with Haven Studios formation date, means it's probably a ways off.
