I’m sure MS reconsidered and backed out of their multi-platform strategy now that they know Klobeille left ResetEra throwing a tantrum.
I wonder if MS will actually double down on exclusives after the backlash just to appease their rabid fanboys who want to continue fantasizing about Xbox killing Playstation.
No way. It's a business and they care about making money. They aren't making enough money based on the money they've put in. They aren't going to just keep doing that to please a few nut jobs.

A business isn't going to cater to a small minority of their user base. Even if every single xbox fanboy from all xbox forums, reddit and twitter quit xbox, they wouldn't feel a thing. It's just a tiny part of the customer base.
Expect a lot of PR talk, like dodging the actual issues people have with their strategy and using "xbox ecosystem" and "welcoming more players".
"We hear you" comes across almost like "please shut up, we get it."

He's going to go all in on the not sustainable angle and it's the only option for Microsoft to stay in gaming.
If it wasn't happening, Phil would simply say that it's NOT happening but he didn't which means that it is. MEH. RIP Xbox.
Thinking about it now, the fact that his statement was so brief and didn't actually attempt to debunk the rumors says it all.
