Matty and Cog aren't wrong and like Cog says, Microsoft is telling you what they are and that's it. People need to accept it and move on. Microsoft has always been a services based company that wants as much revenue and profit as possible. If they gain just 5m people via that Fire Stick for example and they sign up for Game Pass and spend money on micro-transactions and whatnot, that's a positive for Microsoft and worth more than the console itself. Microsoft is simply attacking and going after everything trying to be everywhere. They don't care how you get into their platform and eco-system as long as you do.

They're just helping to kill their brand by not paying for 'the best deal in gaming' 🤣

The product owners set the rules, as a consumer you have to take what suits you most... if the business model doesn't work in their favor this is not the client's problem.

They will get their games elsewhere.
