Releasing games on other platforms removes any reason to own your console.
Its been falling well before that. It had a 30% hardware drop in 22 and 31% hardware drop in 23 when Playstation finally were getting more units made, and now seeing 30% more drop this year. Nadella fell for the 2 billion gamers and Netflix of games pitch. Now it's hard for him to admit the mistakes without also getting part of the blame, they spent over $100B on Phil Spencer's nonsensical strategy.I have no idea how satya even allows the xbox execs to greenlight another generation.
So basically PlayStation is same trouble as Xbox is what I’m reading.
Momentum from one generation transfers to another.What’s wild is that Xbox sold 60m last gen. That’s a very respectable amount of consoles…. If they were selling in line with XB1 I’d say they’d be running a pretty successful hardware business.
I was wonder how well the are xbox consoles tracking against the Dreamcast and the Saturn.
