PS5 has been out 2 years and 9m. Going by Switch sales for 2Y9M we have 49m sales. PS5 sales for same timeframe is over 40m (and this is actually 1m short of 9m). Considering COVID releated supply issues, it's clear they're selling pretty much 1:1. Likely after SM2 and Christmas this year, with the new supply, it will easily be over 50m. So not sure the 80m estimation, PS5 will easily clear 100m again. You're right about it being the same gen as PS5 however, the Wii U was what competed with the PS4. I said the switch was miles ahead of the playstation 5, someone said it was last gen I chose to correct that, and now it appears we're console warring.
I don't think having the best graphics are what nintendo is seeking this generation.
