I think this could be good for Sony overall, being available in all countries even without PS Store association. Have like regional stores for these countries just like they have on their mother company: Europe, Middle Ease, NA, South America, Asia, etc. So you have access to a regional store instead of wasting too much time having a store for each country.

US/UK digital sales are extremely inflated due to other parts of the world using their stores.

I mean a continental store for countries that don't have their own store, until they have afterwards. Now I pay zero tax for games on the US store, but on the Omani store there is a 5% VAT.

This is not me moving a goal post. There is much more nuance to what is going on, it is more than just "wahhh, I don't wanna make a psn account"

I already have my own pre-existing account.

People constantly trying to reduce everything to "don't wanna make a PSN account" are being ridiculous corporate bootlickers.
Even Arrowhead's own community manager and CEO apologized for making this assumption because they weren't aware of the PSN territory issues.


I've had a PSN account for almost 15 years and I had already linked my HD2 game to it since day one.
My problem was always the poor guys who bought the game, invested tens or even hundreds of hours into it and suddenly saw no means to play it legitimately.

I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of wanting to "fight publishers" as a community is suddenly not important anymore once the own interests aren't affected.

And this is a matter which affects PlayStation players, as the game unfortunately supports cross-play and even disabling it, doesn't ensure not having to deal with PC hackers and cheaters, ruining the game for "us".
