Well, when you have a moderator ( at least one ) on ERA which is Xbox Ambassador and numerous members were banned because they were against the deal....yeah. That thread on ERA is very unfriendly for those who are against the deal. Also, members who supported MSs bulliness towards UK after CMA blocked the deal..... I dunno how the hell in the world you can support bulliness towards one country all because COD won't be on Gamepass and nobody gets a ban because of it. That's fucked up.

How did dropping COD partnership work for Xbox? You are still butthurt over people in Activision looking to make serious money. That sex offender Bobby would have made 185m. You need to relax and think about the bigger picture. Keep getting that COD money, if Sony lose it and it goes to MS, where do you think the casual COD audience are going? It happened before and can happen again. Why are you so mad that people would choose to serve their best interests by getting overpaid for ABK shares? We would all be greedy for an extra 185m. I'd go on tv like Bobby and sing like a canary to ensure my company got 3bn for the pointless last 18 months.

Sony will likely have a better deal now because Activision will have to repair the business relationship. There is no forgive and forget, there will be a more beneficial partnership for Sony with either Sony getting a better cut or dlc options. Which equals more Sony profit to invest in other areas.

One could wish for Crash and Spyro IP but that's a bridge too far.

Yes, in effect. Nintendo fans used to have the haven of Japanese sales age threads on Gaf and then Reeee. Once Sony and Xbox forced Nintendo out of the home console market, they lost that safe haven. The WiiU years were as traumatic as the Wii years were jubilant. There was one particular bitch called Jokeropia whose snide condescension fully backfired on him once the Wii fad died out.

Installbase is an attempt to create another safe haven from which to sling rocks and insults at their perceived aggressors, born from the Switch's success.

Deal is likely to still get blocked or if it ever goes trough it's going to be way too late anyway. Xbox is dead, Gamepass and XCloud are failing, all is good.
