Enthusiasm for the PS5 Pro seems to be non-existent amongst most video game developers, with most claiming there is no need for it

It's an enthusiast upgrade that won't sell the numbers that the PS4Pro did because the industry is facing different challenges.

It's great to have a choice but Sony would be better slashing the Price of the PS5 to pennies and launching the PS5pro at the cost of a modern-day PS5
If anything it will sell better than the PS4 Pro. That console had a major flaw in how much noise it made.

Devs don't want Series S either, but that didn't stop Microsoft from releasing it. I could care less what hardware devs want, stfu and make my games.

You can't task me to do what's already easily available to find online, friend, especially when you're blatantly a bad faith actor in this forum.
Nobody but you is arguing in bad faith. Obviously I know how many PS5 ONLY first party exclusives there is for PS5 considering I have bought them all. Hence I can insinuate what I did. There's literally only a handful, and all of them are also now on PC except Demon Souls and they also are technically better versions of the console games.

So as I said it's just a machine that plays PS4 games better as most games are still cross gen... since you needed it spelt out for you.

Yeah, that's how backwards compatibility works.
LMAO! You do realize the attempt at being edgy isn't a drag at my comment right? As my comment was about the fact Majority of the first party games we've gotten so far are cross gen with PS4... But maybe next time read properly before you jump to get a quick jab in for lil forum interactions. 🤫

We'll know in 2 months, I'd say Hellblade 2 will be the first tentpole Unreal Engine 5 game to actually leverage the technology to its maximum extent.
We already have Final Fantasy VII Rebirth looking like butt cheeks unless it's at 30 FPS

That's a Square Enix problem not really the hardware. UE4 is also pretty trash so that's probably why FF16 and FF7 Rebirth don't look up to par compared to other PS5 games.
we are about to get a lot more games that are a "(insert developer here) problem not really the hardware".

Nah i think they rushed development bc ff7 remake didn't sell as good as they wanted. Remake looks significantly better in many areas

I expect more bitching about performance by pc dudes especially. People don't seem to get that Hardware and Software (Games) are in a constant arms race against each other.

What is so hard to understand here?

More and more software coming out can't seem to maintain 60 FPS on PS5. Whether it's the developers' fault for whatever reason or not is irrelevant to me when the end result is what matters here.

I don't like playing games at 30 FPS. I want to play games at 60 FPS. If a PS5 Pro allows for this, it makes sense for me.

I don't think a game that is currently the front runner for GOTY and one of the highest scoring FF games ever can be called "rushed". Its more so due to engine limitations with UE4 since its obvious the scope for FF7 Rebirth is much bigger than remake.

I'm not saying your wrong its just that 60fps will just never be the standard. Their will be games that will push hardware beyond what its capable of and you can't maintain those framerates or there are times where devs just don't bother optimizing. You wont ever have that consistent experience is all I'm saying. I already accepted this fact.

I think the game direction is probably some of the best ever, but you can't tell me they couldn't polish the visuals more with more engine expertise and time. Maybe UE sucks at open worlds, but idk.

It's still my goty and possibly gotg but let's not pretend the game's visuals in performance mode could use polish, that's what rushed means

They’re all a bunch of depressives at the moment with the industry pivot to ai and layoffs post covid sugar rush. I’m excite, you’re excite - that’s all that matters.
