Dusk Golem appears to be hinting at WayForward Technologies making a new installment of a horror IP from Sunsoft. The obvious bet would be Clock Tower.
It's notable that WayFoward has been involved with the horror genre before. Tomm Hulett (one of the directors there) is a former producer on...
I wonder why Dino Crisis wasn't added and Resident Evil: Director's Cut is only available to purchase in some regions. It seems like there was a deal with Capcom that fell through or something...
Yikes.
Konami was overworking and shorting their employees even in the 1990s/early 2000s. With their new "creators first" initiative, hopefully this toxic work culture gets phased out.
I think there are way more indie films and creator-driven shows than video games, where the indie space is usually bound by heavy budget and technological constraints. There are some AAA auteurs like Hideo Kojima who have a tonne of creative control with larger budgets, but generally speaking...
Gamers are generally why video games aren't taken seriously as art. Gaming is the only "art" medium that not only has an expiration date (the state of game preservation is a joke), but where people legitimately don't give a damn about historical significance/creator intent, and see older games...
A few weeks ago, it was rumoured by Giant Freakin' Robot that the Resident Evil film reboot would be adapting Resident Evil 4. However, a new report from Geek Vibes Nation is making the rounds, this time claiming that the film reboot will adapt the prequel Resident Evil Zero. Allegedly, there is...
Those are unannounced in-house projects that have nothing to do with the ones that have been announced. And the producer wants to make even more:

If nothing else, this is an interesting case of brand cohesion/synergy gone awry.
(Lily Gao played Ada in Welcome to Racoon City as set-up for a probably dead sequel.)
The same thing happened in reverse with the Paul Anderson films, where Li Bingbing played Ada with Sally Cahill dubbing the...
It seems there are already a few (unannounced) in-house Silent Hill games in development, with the Castlevania reboot also being in-house according to VGC.
Silent Hill: The Short Message is also being made in-house with the involvement of Team Silent's Masahiro Ito.
I hope Konami is serious...
Most likely this:

I disliked Albert Wesker's new voice more than Ada's. With DC Douglas fired, you would think they would bring back Richard Waugh or hire someone like Ron Perlman, but the new voice actor sounded like a generic bad guy.
