If these guys succeed, it's literally bad for everyone else.Never wish anyone bad luck.
Hope this continues.
They always will fail if not change their view / strategy in gaming. So instead of using Game Pass only as a target, they used Xbox as a whole...and it still failed miserably
Continuation of massive underperformance = failure. And everyone knows it's even worse when accounting stops packing all fixed costs, and fixed costs are factored in.If these guys succeed, it's literally bad for everyone else.
So I hope it fails even harder in the future.
Seems to be BryanK's hymnal they are singing from. And yet the Xbox fanboy narrative online right now is that Playstation is falling apart, everyone is leaving, they won't be able to make good games anymore and we need to stop making fun of Xbox and be afraid for Playstation, lol.
They definitely can't backpedal on day 1 releases without a mutiny from their consumers they've gotten used to it now & that was when they were barely releasing games imagine finally having big games to the service & then saying actually no you have to buy these I mean you even have proud xbots talking about how they haven't even paid for gamepass Because they've used rewards points or they use conversion tactics to get it cheaper than Microsoft wants them to payGamepass is earning itself bad branding. “Good enough for gamepass” has stuck and consumers recognize it as such — junk.
They could backpedal back to day one full retail for future releases the “aaa pedigree” of Starfield but I doubt they actually care if studios make money or not.
Yes, but the OS was good and it had its fans. Many people got them through their work, I suspect that given a couple more years it could have built itself a niche at least, maybe a decent market."A mistake?" Nah, Apple was just kicking your ass and you kept tripping over yourself. No wonder Phil wanted those pics of him with King out quick because time's ticking for their console.
Their "customers" are evangelizing for whatever xbox wants them to, they will accept the spin, no matter how hard the spin cycle is set to.They definitely can't backpedal on day 1 releases without a mutiny from their consumers they've gotten used to it now & that was when they were barely releasing games imagine finally having big games to the service & then saying actually no you have to buy these I mean you even have proud xbots talking about how they haven't even paid for gamepass Because they've used rewards points or they use conversion tactics to get it cheaper than Microsoft wants them to pay

Didn't Spencer say in their FTC trial they were still at 25 and they haven't experienced growth?Let's make some maths.
On January 18, 2022 the Gamepass official numbers were 25 million.
Their target was around 45 million at end of June 2023.
They reached 32 million at end of June 2023.
I'd be expecting their 'adorably all digital' series X next year maybe they'll revise the price abit don't see anyone thinking $500 is a good price just because it has a 2tb SSD when they've taken out the disk driveHow long do we think till Xbox consoles are no longer made? The biggest thing that killed Windows Phone was Microsoft not supporting their phones past the version of WP the phone shipped with, and apps becoming unavailable if you weren't on the current version.Yes, but the OS was good and it had its fans. They needed to have people make great phones for it tho, that did not seem to happen... and them having Nokia in house probably did not make the other phone manufacturers confident about investing in the platform.

That is gaming now. Id prefer sony invest or acuire publishers close to them but theyd rather lay people off than fight back.
I assume they could have fixed that. The biggest thing that killed Windows Phone was Microsoft not supporting their phones past the version of WP the phone shipped with, and apps becoming unavailable if you weren't on the current version.
That and Windows Phone being shit in general. The biggest thing that killed Windows Phone was Microsoft not supporting their phones past the version of WP the phone shipped with, and apps becoming unavailable if you weren't on the current version.
