Wasn't the rumor that a sequel was being made by blue point but its more like a prequel?
Like early Yarnum stuff?
The remake/Remaster I though was more of just a port with reworked stuff not a full on from scratch remake?

Makes no sense that not even a remaster exist, Sony is completely out touch if they don't realize this would sell more on PC than any of the games they are porting and that even a basic remaster would sell pretty well on PS5.
After the success of Elden Ring is just couldn't be more obvious.
No PS4 pro patch, no PS5 patch or remaster, no PC port, no remake... this is how they treat what is pretty much one of the best PS4 games.

Well Sony ignored a driveclub patch or PS5 remake too. Something tells me they will not do the same to Bloodborne. Perhaps we will hear news when Bloodborne 2 is announced.
This game needs a sequel and a remaster. A Remake is not necessary when the game looks better than most Souls games apart from Sekiro.

Back in the days as a leak about a Tales of Symphonia Remaster got public, Bandai dumped the rumor. After 2 or 3 months the Tales of Symohonia Chronicles Remaster for PS3 was announced. Maybe it's similar now with Bloodborne?
This is very disappointing to hear, I just do not know why Sony isn't making a remaster at least, it's free money at this point, it'll sell millions especially after Elden Ring's illustrious commercial & critical reception.
I just wish Bandai Namco buys the IP from Sony, at that point you'll see the Remaster & a sequel for all platforms right away, because it's probably one of the most wanted games right now.

Bloodborne sequel in name without Miyazaki isn’t that exciting at all. One of my favorite games of all time.
It’s like Star Wars without George Lucas or Halo without Bungie. Fan fiction cover band trash. IP loyalty is a joke in modern entertainment. Celebrate creators not brands… because in the end parasite monolithic corporations like Microsoft and Disney will own everything and rob them of their soul.
Bloodborne doesn’t need a remake. The game looks beautiful due to its stellar art direction. 4k 60 port pls. That’s all you need.
