The 900 at Blizzard were part of the 1900 announced last week. They have to give 60 days notice or something like that.

Sony could use a toys for bob like studio to just crank out platformsrs like Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter & Sly Cooper. Split them into 2 teams & build upon there success. From the Insomniac leaks R&C Rift Apart was very profitable making 150 million profit w a budget of 70 million.

Simple: The IP isn't owned by Toys for Bob, but Activision. Toys for bob is the developer hired to make Spyro and Crash games

Sony never owned those franchises, can't give them back. It was just an exclusivity deal between PlayStation and Universal.
They were first owned by Universal Interactive which then merged with Vivendi Games in 2000.
Then Vivendi Games merged with Activision to form Activision Blizzard in 2008(Blizzard was under Vivendi at the time).
Now Microsoft owns those IPs.
