A. Sell it and continue to grow a healthy relationship by mutually helping one another (DS2 exclusive, Physint exclusive)
or
B. Be controlling and tell the very man who made the IP that he will never get the rights to it. That's one of the easiest ways to never get an email back from a in demand creative ever again.

I use a PlayStation to play video games. It has been doing that fine for 30 years, the point is games, not to have what other cannot. You have reached an impressive level of console war brainrot I must say its fascinating.
Holy crap, just let that sink in. Death Stranding is no longer a Sony exclusive IP. That means Death Stranding 2 will officially launch on Xbox as well. After Square Enix, this is the next slap in the face for PlayStation fans.

It's funny how Xbox is getting more support than ever (Sony, Mihoyo, Square) when their sales are tanking in every market. It's like the whole industry is desperate to give them one last push.
You can play games elsewhere, you don't need a PlayStation for that. What's the reason for a PlayStation instead of another platform?

Most of the people on this board are heavily emotionally invested in PlayStation to the point is has become their identity. No other platform has such a toxic fanbase.
You are tip toeing around the question and being condescending won't make your empty replies hold weight. Consoles have always been about exclusive stables as well. PlayStation did not become the dominant force because their games were everywhere. All those 3rd party exclusives during PS1 & PS2 era (that you were enjoying) were for a reason. Without them the PS1 would have certainly not sold 100+ million. Sony is still trying to get 3rd party exclusives for a reason lol, especially given how this year has played out where their 2nd & 3rd party is what saved them.
Nobody is console warring here, you're attemptimg to deflect the conservation because you wanna come off as being so level headed and rational, it ain't working here though.

Seems like Sony wanting to stay in Kojima's good graces - he's probably one of the only guys in the industry they'll bend over backwards for.
