NOTE: At the eight minute mark, the RX 570 is compared to the PS4 - we meant PS4 Pro. The RX 570 has 32 GCN compute units, similar to the PS4 Pro GPU, but runs at with higher clocks.

We received an advance build Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart on PC ahead of time, but with not enough time available to do a complete analysis. So here, we take a look at the PC version at max and minimum specs on appropriate hardware and stack it up against the PlayStation 5 version running in its performance RT mode.

So Sony was right about the game using the SSDs even with people trying to create narratives.

Yep. And weirdly they were testing the HDD with the lowest settings. I can't even begin to imagine how sluggish it is with the highest settings.

It's not unplayable, but one of the main characteristics of the game behaves like absolute garbage. They also don't seem to have tested the fast world switching within the game, only during scripted segments.

Also, lol @ dicktator saying that the game actually looks good at 720p. Like, the same dude that nitpicks graphics has the balls to say that that smear looks good.

Sony was trying to say the SSD on the PS5. I remember the narative back in the day. We all thought that Sony's drive was special and even better than PCs. Now we see that any next-gen Sony game can be played on regular SSD with no problems.

It was special before the PS5 released. PC’s caught up before the PS5 launched.
