"The lack of growth from the initial sales is concerning. As I pointed out last month, FF16's sales pattern should have been different if they intended to achieve long-term returns. This is one of the reasons I consider it a failure"

"While writing this way may have implications on the global scale, looking at the American charts, it appears that FF16 hasn't shown significant growth"

it seems FFXVI doesn't have the legs required....I think the word of mouth is not good and strong enough. I Hope this settles it once and for all.

It's just another Bloomberg fake news article with lies about Sony.

FFXVI launch has been very successful specially considering it only launched in a single console that as of now it only has 40M consoles in the market because it's relatively new.

the issue is the legs of the game.

The lack of growth from the initial sales is concerning. As I pointed out last month, FF16's sales pattern should have been different if they intended to achieve long-term returns. This is one of the reasons I consider it a failure.

I am not even gonna look at the content

Lemme guess, Takashi Kichiwawa?
It's always the same Toyo, Takashi and Bloomberg.

Is this site reliable? He took it from there.

Let us know if it's new info from Square.

Bullshit, Square didn't share sales since the launch ones, so they don't have any idea of the game sales since then.

can i delete my own thread?
I don't know, but mods could merge both threads to don't lose comments.

The sales data shows themselves.

- Lower first shipment without updates after 2 months (they are still selling first shipment).
- Publisher worldwide price cut up to 29% to move inventory.
- Basically out of sales chart across Europe with numbers below previous entries.
- No legs and big decline in Japan.
- NPD data being “fine” with the title below Dead Insland 2 that likely around 1 milliok
In US.

But people keep believing agains facts 🤷‍♂️

It's a speculation pirce from Gameindustry.biz, basically 3 days ago, surronding SE shift to more AAA approach which was reported back in July.

They don't even mention 16 disapponting, underperform or anything, so there's that. It only mentions 16 sold 3 million copies in few days

Of Kichiwawa Takashi got his wife banged by Sony employee so he gonna spin it somehow.
