The closing of studios and termination of projects, that have not yet been announced and with low projected returns
The restructuring program is divided into different phases until March 2024. The initial phase, which has already begun, mainly targets cost savings across the group. The next phase, which has also begun, still requires further analysis to determine specific actions. The final phase will focus on internal consolidation, further resource utilization, and increased synergy within Embracer Group

Embracer never made sense.

I hope Sony buys Tomb Raider in a fire sale to add Lara to Uncharted.

Embracer is a scam operation
Wrong, they have been doing a great job during many years, releasing a lot of stuff, keeping a great and healthy finantials during years, and also with good -mostly inorganic- growth.

And did it giving full creative freedom to their studios and with a lot of patience with milestones, delays, etc. They also saved several studios from closure by acquiring them and supporting them with their other teams.

Microsoft, Embracer and Tencent will crash the industry
Nah, Embracer and Tencent have been very positive for the industry.

They gave money, stability and support to many studios keeping them healthy, supporting them where needed and helping them grow, while also giving them creative freedom and patienty giving them the time they needed to do their stuff.

I know people who run or work at multiple studios bought by Tencent or Embracer and they are very happy with them.

This will most likely have some sort of impact of the Xbox projects Crystal Dynamics took over.

Perfect Dark just got pushed back another two years…

In some bizarre world Activision deal falls thru and MS is blocked from acquisitions for a minute. Sony buys embracers fire sale scraps on fire sale and somehow Sony ends up owning the developer on Xbox exclusive Perfect Dark.
