No other countries need to either approve or deny the deal and let's not forget the FTC has been sitting on this and has been waiting to say if they will go ahead and block it and approve it plus if it does get blocked by the FTC then Microsoft is within its rights to sue the FTC or take the FTC to supreme court and try to fight this deal hence this is not over yet. Also, it's said that Microsoft hired lawyers in the UK to fight this to get this deal overturned and approved. So it's not over with.

hi newbie, the deal is dead. their is no 'overturning' done to the CMA, they first have to win an appeal that CMA came to an irrational conclusion (they won't) and even then it goes back to the CMA. And the time it will take to fight the FTC in the courts plus the CMA block means this deal will be officially dead in 2024, when nothing is left of the Xbox hardware business.

The deal is dead. Microsoft and ABK won't appeal. They will terminate the deal in July and ABK will receive their $3 billions. Until then, the media directed by Microsoft will keep spreading these fake news of clearing the deal.
